A Day for Dads

I love dads. Caring, loving, fun, dads. Today is Keith's first Father's Day as a dad and he is already great at it. I have loved watching him sink into this role.

Charlie loves playing with Keith and watching as he walks around the house. They are already great buds.

I am not ashamed to say that I am a Daddy's Girl. I am blessed to have a dad who took me on crazy adventures, taught me life lessons as we fixed fences, looked out for me, and just loved me completely.

I am also blessed to have a father-in-law that treats me as a daughter, looks out for me, talks birds with me, and loves me. I have it on good authority that he would take me over Keith if he had to make the choice (good thing he won't ever have too).

My Grandpa Earl truly exemplifies what it means to be a good dad. He loves Grandma so completely. His children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren love him so much and are blessed by him.

I am thankful for all the great dads out there. They bless the lives of their families more than they probably realize.
