My Christmas shopping is over and it might be a bit premature to be buying Junior a chapter book, but...I think Keith would enjoy it as much as Junior anyway, and I think I might enjoy browsing through it as well.

Ohh, I lament your disappearing belly button with you! Mine was also all but gone entirely, until after my babes, when slowly but surely it has returned to a likeness of it's former self. It'll be ok soon enough!
I love the idea of this book too - and that you're getting books for your boy already! Yay for Charlie!
I thought the fun was figuring all those things out your self. You learm more from failure than sucesses. Although guide books on mountains aren't the worst things in the world when you are short of time.
