On Saturday we spent the day at the Shaw Nature Reserve. It was the first place we have gone here where we didn't feel like we were in a city (read: where we could go for hours and not see people). Needless to say, it was really nice.
And no, I don't purposely give Charlie carabiners to chew on, he grabbed that while we were packing for the day. His first two teeth popped through within two days of each other last week so he is serious about his teething rings.

Charlie is adorable as ever and the nature shots are amazing! I love the feeling I get from the solitary bench under the trees, its gorgeous!! Go Ansel Adams!
Cutting teeth on a carabineer...that kid is going to be a climber for sure! I really enjoyed reading you post and the pictures. My wife and I have 3 young kids (all under the age of 7) and we love nothing more than getting away from the city (Seattle) and doing some family hiking. Got to get them started young, right?
