There is so much about this picture that I love: the monkeys on his neck (one of his favorite games), the National Geographic in his hand, even the scrapes on his face. I am saving this picture because if he goes into biology or environmental science I am going to frame this along with his diploma.
After all, I think he could have potential in that field. It might help that he loves sneaking the calculator off the counter and playing with it.
And those scrapes? They are from an accidental somersault on the pavement. It looked worse a couple days later when the kitchen floor added a fat lip to the mix.
